How to Draw Light Yagami

Not easy to draw a comic character. Needed patience, thoroughness, diligence, painstaking, and that certainly is a high artistic soul. In addition, means drawing a comic character should describe the mood of the characters.

EP 1. In this first step you are going to draw the guidelines and circle shapes of Light Yagami. Starting at the top draw an egg shape for the head and sketch the facial guidelines in the middle. Next draw a box shape for his torso and then draw the outlines for his legs, feet, arms, and jacket. This completes step 1.

STEP 2. Next what you are going to do is start detailing the definition on his head by sketching in his hair. Then you can start drawing in his nose, eyes, and mouth. On the left side of the image sketch in the details in his jacket sleeve and hand. Next detail his jacket at the top collar and work your way down to the bottom of the shirt and on the left side of his pants. Make sure you sketch in those loose looking wrinkles to really make them look like a pair of pants. Detail and draw in the Death Note and detail the shoes a bit. This will conclude step 2.

STEP 3. Now here is where you will be drawing in the detailing all over the jacket. Start by sketching in the crevasses and creases along with all the wrinkles shown above. After those details are sketched in draw in the buttons and button holes on the jacket as well. Detail the left side of his pants a bit more. This concludes step 3.

STEP 4. This is going to be your last step of drawing and sketching. All you have to do here is sketch in some minor detailing on the right pant leg and shoe. After your image looks like the one above you can go ahead and erase all the guidelines and circle shapes that you drew in step 1.

STEP 5. This is what your Light Yagami should look like when you are totally finished. That was pretty simple huh. All that is left to do is give him some color and pin him up or keep him in your sketch pad, you can also prepare him to be uploaded into the user art section that is coming real soon to DragoArt.
